FRIDAY 20TH APRIL
First meet at The Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar for a pre booked visit of their collection Spitfires and other fighters before travelling to Tonbridge. Our base for the weekend is the Rose & Crown Hotel. Time for an aperitif and conversation with old and new friends before dinner. Afterwards reminisce previous trips and plan future trips, all suggestions welcomed.

SATURDAY 21ST APRIL
Our first visit is to the De Havilland Museum at Salisbury Hall for a guided tour of this unique collection which includes three Mosquito aircraft. A very entertaining and informative host holds our attention with his insights into the aircraft and items on display. Next we travel to the RAF Museum at Hendon to see the rearranged displays, although not yet fully completed.
This evening we hold our AGM before dinner and Committee members advise of future plans, followed by the challenging Quiz from Colin Burgess after which we are in need of some refreshing ale.

SUNDAY 22ND APRIL
We visit the MAPS ( Medway Aircraft Preservation Society ) restoration hangar at Rochester airport where the Spitfire from Stoke on Trent is being refurbished. Also one of only three Short Scion aircraft is being rebuilt to flying condition but will not fly due to some distortion of the rear fuselage.
We say farewell until we meet again.
